Career Counsellor based in Wellington
Whether you are just out of school or an expert in an established field having to make a change in the job market. I will strive to help you find the job information you seek and assist you with the information you need to change your career options, so you can make a rational decision on your next career move. Careers are changing with new ones evolving and others facing fading opportunities. We will work together to get you the means and support to get you to where you want to be.
Career experience
I have sixteen years of experience working in government, in Career Services Advise line, NGO's and private businesses on Ministry of Social Development contracts both in face to face, phone advise and on line chat. Experience as a classroom Teacher in NZ schools. I have run my own business CareerWise for seven years.
Licence from CareerEQ Career Management Specialists, Auckland
Certification in the Self Directed Search testing, which you may wish to use in your career decision making.
I have a Diploma in Career Counselling, Diploma in Teaching and a B.A. in Educational Psychology
I am a Professional Member of the Career Development Association of New Zealand and a member of the Career and Transition Educators (CATE).

CareerEQ Intelligence assessment
- for Mature workers needing to change what they do for work. Assesses your Values, Career Motivators, fields of work, skills you want to utilise and your work competencies.
CareerSmart
A Career tool for Secondary students Years 11-13 and University students. Ideal for working through your future career after leaving school.
Self Directed Search assessment: The services that I offer can range from Career selection using the Self Directed Search assessment, Australian edition from NZCER and a variety of tools to analyse your skills and/or career values.
Counselling in relation to your life situation and objectives in choosing a career.
My Career Counselling methodology involves vocational assessment using an assessment if you wish to, online Skills Analysis, to assist you identify your Skills and Values for a new career and talking to you about your unique situation.
Interview coaching : CV writing, job search coaching and preparation for your career change can also be a part of your needs and I work with you on the components you need most, taking your current situation into account.
